Comments about Pelican 2360 LED Flashlight:
After having throwaway lights or cheap LED flashlights that broke, it was time to invest in a good light. I chose the 2360 because it used readily availabe AA batteries, and it was a respected Pelican with a lifetime warranty. B&H had a good price, and their reputation, along with sending it right away, made me a happy customer. I would recomend to anyone.

The weight is great and doesn't feel cheap.
The button has a halfway function to turn on the light for short usage Very clever thinking.
It uses AA batteries
Very strong light, When I pointed the light to my hand palm at 10cm it was reflecting with plenty of light. Only at 30cm I could stare my palm with the light.
Very good construction.
It also has a clip to put it on your belt or jean.

I bought this flashlight to used it for light painting during my night photographer routines, I am afraid is not the best light for that kind of things, but I did find it very handy to illuminated the my way to location. I also find good used for it inside the house. The build construction is great I've dropped it many times and it still look and work like new.

Comments about Pelican 2360 LED Flashlight:
I have 4 of these lights and they are wonderful.
Using the standard batteries keeps the use cost down.
The end switch does easily activate but is hard to fully depress which keeps the light from staying on, If you have this clipped to you pants pocket inside and sit down the button may depress enough to light. but it is not a real problem. This light is very powerful for it's size and weight, I own several Maglites and NEBO Lights The NEBO light comes close but does not have the comfortable feel of the Pelican although the NEBO has adjustments for the Beams and this is even more powerful than the 7 cell Maglite torch. As with all Pelican Products it is well made and dependable.

Comments about Pelican 2360 LED Flashlight:
Birdwatching & Game viewing, some general use. This proved a very nice product considering the light weight and using AA batteries. On-time is well over 2 hours when using 2700mAh rechargeables. The biggest flaw is the unprotected switch which is very sensitive and will be pressed "on" by anything in the gadget bag. It is mentioned that a slight turn de-activates it, but this is not accurate.
