It's hard to describe just how fast a SSD will make your computer feel. All those annoying pauses while your OS loads a program or pages to disk are gone. If you're sick and tired of your slow load times, this thing solves all your problems.

Comments about Intel 80GB X25-M Mainstream SATA Solid-State Drive:
I bought this and installed it in a new system for an HTPC and general computing. Along with an Intel I3(O/C'd) and 4 gig of ram I get an WEI score of 7.8 on this awesome Drive. It installed without any problems and I did one firmware update also without any problems. Boot up and shut down processes are very fast! I really love this SSD!

Comments about Intel 80GB X25-M Mainstream SATA Solid-State Drive:
I read a review somewhere that said the best thing you can do to speed up your computer is to get an SSD, I have to agree now. If you have a decent CPU, RAM and Video card this drive will really make your computer fly! Use this for your OS and program drive, get a big conventional hard drive for storage and swap file and you won't be sorry you did!

Comments about Intel 80GB X25-M Mainstream SATA Solid-State Drive:
I have this as part of my HP2930p. It works great: no worry about defragmentation, apps load almost instantly, no worry about shock protection.
While the capacity is low especially for Vista, it is sufficient for business use.
Remember to disable the virtual RAM and auto-defragmatation when you use this. Both are claimed to shorten its life span.
