If you're looking for a sturdy bag for the miscellaneous stands - this will do the job nicely.
I use this bag for three 34 in (when closed) impact light stands along with a boom arm & an umbrella. There is more room - probably at least 2 or three more stands.
It's not a padded bag although the ends have a ribbed padding that do well when being bumped against other cases or gear in transport.
The straps are constructed really well. They look and feel like seatbelt material.
It has a side pocket for small items or tools. There's also a clear business card area for easy identification.
For what it is this bag is great. I wasn't looking for anything with padding - mostly something to tie up some loose stands I had or a light weight, non-bulky way to carry stands when I'm the only one on a shoot.

The bag looks cool and carries well, even though it comes without a shoulder strap but is has virtually no padding so I needed to wrap towels around my gear and strap it down with packing tape. The ends have a little protection but definitely not enough for a light stand, soft box or umbrella to withstand a flight. It may work well for light work around town but not recommended for airlines.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
i use this bag to carry lighting accessories and related stuff - three light stands that just barely fit with umbrella brackets attached; two Photek umbrella diffusers, the biggest Gorilla pod, a small collapsible boom, a roll of gaffer tape, a roll of Blackwrap, a camera tripod, and a little portable fan. Sometimes I carry a sweater or jacket in there, too. It all fits - not much room to spare, but it does fit. If I put anything more in it, it would be too heavy to carry comfortably, anyway. The handles are fine - well-placed and not too hard on the hands. I've only used it a few times, but so far, it's fine; no complaints. If something existed that was this light and held this much stuff and could safely be taken on an airplane, that would be even better, but I doubt such a thing exists.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
Haven't really used the bag out in the field yet- have it only two weeks - however, have other Kata products and am sure that this one will live up to the others. Quality, workmanship and price all good features!
Purchased it to fit my three Impact 8 ft. lighting stands and a 45 inch Photoflex convertible umbrella.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
This bag is capable of fitting more items then what it gives itself credit for, which is great because many similiar items on the market claim they can hold more then they really can. This bag is very solid and for the cost is very affordable for what you get. I trust this bag not to break.
Currently, I have three stands in this bag, a softbox (yes, you read correctly), 4 umbrellas, and various other mounting devices with plenty of room to spare.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
This is an almost perfect bag for me.
I need to carry 4 small tripods and SB800's and this is a great size.
Would be perfect if it had a couple of inside pockets as well as the external one.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
This bag is amazing, it is well built and can easily hold a lot more than 4 light stands. The zippers slide smoothly and the rings for the shoulder strap are well positioned to balance the bag when carrying it. My only complait is that it does not include a shoulder strap, why kata would you do that? Also the rings that the shoulder strap mount to are a little thick for some fasteners to clip to so it might be tricky finding a suitable strap. I wanted to use the Skooba bag strap but it could not fit the rings, so I used an old shoulder strap from a lowepro shoulder bad that is not used anymore.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
I use this bag for all of my lightstands. It's sturdy, well constructed and appears that it will hold up to all the use/abuse I can throw at it. The only down side is that it is very large and there is some extra room on the inside and to keep my stands from banging around on each other I usually toss a towel in as well. Otherwise no complaints

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
This bag is made well and is light weight. It does carry (4) light stands easily. It appears to be a high quality constructed bag with a very sturdy zipper. I am dissappointed that it does not come with a shoulder strap. To make matters worse the recommended shoulder strap (sold as a option) has been discontinued.

Comments about Kata LS-36 Light Stand Bag:
I had to return this product because my basic lightstands were too long after putting on some attachements. I didn't want to keep taking them off. I recommend this product but make sure you get the right size.
