I was immediately satisfied that this would suit my purposes. So, I immediately ordered the 54 inch version as well. I loaded this 46 inch model with three light stands, three umbrellas, one large and one extra large soft box, two large reflector holders, extension chords, and small accessories, and I still have the accessory pocket empty.
The bag is a large open chamber, as described. No padding. No dividers. I use a pillow case for a long body pillow, with two seams sewn lengthwise, forming three separate tubular chambers into which I can slide the lightstands and reflector olders. It individually encases them and protects them from scratching one another.

Simple bag that just works
It's just a bag; no padding, no shoulder strap included. A little over priced for such a simple bag. But it will fit huge stands with no problem. It works.

I use this bag for two of my tripods and one monopod. The handles make caring so easy. Then I have two larger ones for my light stands and boom.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
Stylish. Very long to fit tall light stands. Light weight and easy to carry. I currently have 3 large light stands, 2 umbrellas, and a fairly heavy tripod in mine and plenty of room to spare.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
Great bag and is exactly what is was described as. If you looking for a well padded bag then don't get this product. But if you need a bag to put your stands in to get round with... then this is perfect. The extra padding on top and bottom helps so the stands don't break through with wear. And the strap handles are secure when carrying the weight of the stands. Im very happy with this bag... but if it included a shoulder sharp then Id be even happier.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
I originally ordered this but was sent the next smaller size. As is always the case, B&H makes good on any slight mistakes that are made, and re-sent me the correct size. It fits my 2-11 ft (fully extended) light stands, 2-60 in. umbrellas and tripod....with room to spare. Excellent construction and solid zippers make this a reliable bag for its intended purpose.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
This bag is large enough to fit my two 46" light stands, tripod, two umbrellas, and two softboxes.
For the price, it would have been nice if a shoulder strap was included.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
The ends are very rugged but wish it had a little more in the way of padding on the sides as well as a carrying strap. I own two of these and keep my stands and softboxes in them. For the price, don't think they can be beat.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
Stocked on this purchase, it's got loads of room, on my last outing I packed a Miller 100mm bowl tripod, 2 lightstands 3 powercables and a long sdi cable in the bag.
It's made of think fabric and the zipper is heavy duty.
It's just so easy to store or move all my light stands around in bag

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
Fits all my light stands with lots of extra room for everything else you could possibly need in a lighting kit (except the lights). I put my ac cords in the bag with the stands, and my cardellini clamps in the zippered side pocket. The bag is well made, strong, and hope to get many years out of it.

Very well made, not much in the way of padding, but the padded ones cost more. Bigger than I thought, I can fit 4-5 stands plus umbrellas and some other stuff.

Comments about Kata LS-46 Light Stand Bag:
This bag is used to throw in all my required stands for a shoot. If you can carry it, it will fit it!
I have had 6 stands, soft-boxs, umbrellas and room to move.
Well made, good materials but no padding or compartments. I think a base insert would help stabilize so it doesn't sag in the middle but good gear for the price.

This is exactly what I was looking for- makes me feel a little silly that I've been trying to haul my light stands and tripod by hand. This is a tough feeling, sturdy bag with that's very roomy.
