Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
I purchased the LS-36 about a year ago and I liked it so much I had to get the LS-54 for my backdrop stands and poles. It's not a padded bag but is nicely ribbed on each end. It's a well constructed good looking bag which I know will give me years of use. Perfect for location shoots and local events.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
Just bought my second one of these to carry extra stands and softboxes. It holds a ton of stuff. I usually have 4 stands, a couple softlighters or softboxes with a boom and tripod in it. Its not padded very well but I knew that going in to it. Its light and perfect for local location shooting.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
I needed a bag to carry a bunch of stands. Checked out all the major brands with their various sizings (very important!) and access. This bag made the grade. I like the zippered side pocket which I've filled with a few super clamps etc. A shoulder strap would have been a nice touch but is not included so needs to be ordered separately. Bag looks good too.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
I store and carry 3 Impact 9.6' Heavy Duty stands and my tripod w/ball head in this bag. The size is great (which is one of the reasons I decided on this one). However, I would really have liked to see more padding in the bag. I am careful to take care of the gear that I have, and, here, this bag leaves a bit to be desired.
The bag is well constructed and seems that it will last for a long time. I am sure that I will find a way to add padding inside to protect my stands, ect.

Lots of room, strong zipper. I added a Kata Gecko shoulder strap (KT VG-604-DH).

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I can fit into this bag - I can easily carry my tripod, light stand with adaptor (46"), umbrella and zip disc in the main bag, along with a number of pocket wizards and chargers in the side pocket. The bag is sturdy and lightweight - easy to swing the handles over my rolling bags for shoots.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
I previously purchased the LS-46 bag into which I have packed 3 lightstands, 2 telescopic lightdisc holders, 3 umbrellas, a 36x48x25 inch softbox, a 54x72x32 inch softbox, and assorted cables, extension chords, etc.
I liked it so much, I immediately purchased the 54 inch version. It holds a very heavy Avenger A5036CS Junior Roller Stand with large casters, and an Avenger D650 Boom, with much room to spare. The extra room is of little consequence though, because that is a heavy lightstand and boom, and I would not elect to carry more in it, except maybe umbrellas of softboxes. Still, the bag seems up to the task of handling the weight.
The unexpectedly heavy duty nature of the clear business card holder is a plus, helping me to ID the bag as mine.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
Looked for a bag to hold my light stands an a new Avenger C-stand. This bag had right dimensions and quality I was looking for when I looked online. The bag delivers - when I opened the box and put my gear in the bag, found the contruction quality to be very good and ample space for my gear. The exterior seems to be very durable and would be something to last through continued usage.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
Materials seem to be strong, have not had it long enough to see if it will stand the test of time.
The seams appear to be heavy and there do not appear to be any defects. It is a great value, its a large soft stand bag or whatever else 54 inchs long you want to put in it. There are pockets on the inside and one on the outside for extra storage too.
I dont know if it was just mine for some reason but i did not get a shoulder strap, if it does not infact come with one i think it should.
however, this is a great deal for someone who is looking for maximum storage space at an entry level price. However i would not ship anything in this bag.

Comments about Kata LS-54 Light Stand Bag:
Fits my three 43" umbrellas and Century AVA2030DKIT with no problems (completely broken down). It can easily fit another Century kit as well. Not padded, so items might have a tendency to hit one another if you aren't careful. No shoulder strap, so you'll need good grip strength. Great value for the money.
