Purchased this backpack to store my Nikon F100 with attached 80-200 lens, 50mm lens, SB-28 speedlight, polarizing filter, a total of 6 rolls of film tucked inside different compartments, and six AA batteries. It's the perfect size backpack for my 5'4" height. I did rearrange the padded inserts to get the fit I wanted, but it works fine. I researched other camera backpacks but the size of this worked best. Other things I appreciate about the backpack is that it doesn't look like a camera bag, has nice external padding, and comfortable shoulder straps. The only thing that could have been better is the built-in rain cover--it needs to be bigger to fully cover the backpack. Haven't yet tried the pocket for an attached tripod. I have a tripod bag so that may not be something I use.

I have a Canon 7D and the designated camera chamber was too small for the camera with kit lens. Once reconfigured to fit the camera (awkwardly), there was little room for lenses/filters. The other problem was that the velcro anchors are not in enough places to provide good flexibility for reconfiguration. I had to return it. Too bad, because it's nicely made.

I eagerly received this backpack yesterday so I could move my gear from my Lowepro shoulder bag and keep everything in one place. I was able to get everything I have into this bag. This includes:
Main Compartment:
Canon Rebel XS
Canon 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS lens attached
Canon 18-55 IS Kit lens w/hood
ET-65B lens hood for 70-300 lens
Large Giottos Rocket Blower
2 UV filter cases
Remote shutter release
Extra lens and camera covers
Extra battery
Canon Rebel XS charger
Other compartment:
LensPen
FilterKlear (LensPen)
MicroPro LensPen
Canon Rebel XS manual
2 SD card holders
Has plenty of room for additional lens or 2, depending on size, if I remove some of the accessories, such as my extra covers, empty filter cases and charger, and put them in the other compartment.
Bag construction is tough. The zipper flap might cause some headache to some, but I like it. It might be a little tedious getting into it, but it also provides security when you're wearing it. Camera fit is snug which is what I was looking for. I tried some other bags in local stores and the snugness isn't what I was hoping for until I tried the Pro Runner 200AW. That was the main selling point for me. Has hideaway weather cover. Overall excellent bag at a reasonable price.

Dont fool yourself with other type of bags. This is the best. I made a mistake buying the Slingshot one. The 200 AW is a lot more comfortable to wear. I recommend it 100%.

Perfect size fro me, caries body, 300F4, 100F2.8, 50F1.8, 1.4x conv, Flash and other accessories. As others have noticed the zipper sometimes gets stuck on the cover, but pulled at the correct angle it's fine.

The Pro Runner 200 AW is a fine backpack. It has enough room to fit my Nikon D700/w 28-200mm lens, 18-35mm, 105mm micro, 50mm 1.4, 16mm Fisheye and accesories. The weight distribution is fine and the zippers work quite well. It's an all around great backpack for local or travel use.

This is the perfect bag for a shoot where you need a couple lenses and say a flash, and need to be mobile. It makes carrying your equipment much simpler. It's not the biggest bag, but for me it's absolutely perfectly sized. It's function as a backpack makes shoots where you need to be mobile much easier.
For me, when I shoot surf, I throw my Tamron 200-500mm (yes, it fits), Nikon 55-300mm, 18-55mm, and 35mm f/1.8 in the bag, along with a Nissin speedlite. That allows me to take pictures of surf far out in the ocean, surfers on the beach, and anything in between. And yes, all that fits in this one bag.
The tripod holder function works decently, however you need a small tripod head in order for it to fit well. My Manfrotto tripod also weighs the bag down quite a bit. However, a monopod fits beautifully in the tripod compartment.
Over all, love this bag.

I ordered this for my nikon D90 - it's a snug fit with the lens kit I have, which is excatly what I was hoping for. It feels great on, and with the straps tightened doesn't slide around or off my back - even if i've got it slung over one shoulder.
The outer zipper has a flap that covers it, which sometimes gets in the way if i zip it too quickly, but it doesn't impede normal use.

Very good at what it is designed for which is to carry and protect my camera and other equipment. It has enough room for all I carry including two lens, memory cards, extra battery and it's charger. I especially like the tripod option it will even carry my older tripod without a problem.

The bag is called the Pro Runner so I thought it would house my 5D with Grip (or other pro sized cameras, ie 1D). No deal.
The bag is only tall enough for DSLR's without battery grips attached. Otherwise I really liked the bag and would have kept it. It would not have been practical for me to keep the bag as I almost always use the grip.
Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Zip & Unzip is very difficult and not smooth because of the flap cloth which is tight to the zip. Everytime the cloth should be un-flapped before opening/closing it. when you want to do it fast, it becomes impossible.

Comments about Lowepro Pro Runner 200 AW Backpack (Black):
I wanted a light Backpack but big enough to fit my gear, yet it had to be solid and comfortable to carry. The Lowepro Pro Runner 200 AW met all these criteria perfectly.
I fit in this bag my Canon EOS 7D camera with Canon EF 100-400L [attached or separately] complete with tripod mount and Hood reversed, one Canon EF 24-104L zoom, one Canon EF-S 10-22 wide angle zoom, Lens Hoods for EF 24-105 and for EF-S 10-22[quite large], spare batteries, lens cleaning kit, spare lens caps, Bower Remote Shutter Release etc. It is filled like an egg but my gear is very well protected.
However I give it 4 stars because at the begining I had some difficulties with the separators which prevented my camera to fit in properly. Although I had a very good support from Lowepro to help me with this issue, I had to modify the separators slightly, and also added some more velcro along the main separators in order to have more flexibility in the adjustment of the lateral separators. Now it is perfect!
