Was running my BD player and Apple TV HDMI inputs thru my Denon AVR receiver but it usually didn't automatically detect the proper input like it was supposed to. Gave up after months of trying to fix when I bought this switch to bypass AVR and auto-detect the input. Doesn't usually auto-switch (loses 1 star for this) but the source select button is within easy access and always works when selected. Maybe the HDMI source signals aren't strong enough for auto-switch if happening on both devices. So far, much happier with this setup than thru the AVR. Even though it doesn't auto-switch for me, I still recommend.

there's not a lot to say about it. It does what it says it will do. It is powered from the HDMI port, which I guess could vary from unit to unit, but on my samsung TV, it seems to get enough power to do what it needs to do.

First off it worked like a charm, as I had returned two previous switchers which produced error messages of incompatible on my Panasonic BD player. Second it didn't need a power source to work. I now can keep my gaming computer and my BD player hot wired to my Panasonic Plasma Screen. Third is was cheaper by 20 dollars in one instance and 80 dollars cheaper compared to the second switcher tried. Go for it!

Very easy, just plug in your equipment, no need for a power adapter!
This wonderful little device automatically switches between both your HDMI sources; simply connect your devices/equipment and power on the one you need to view or just turn off the one you're not currently viewing. It will automatically switch to the Available (powered-on) source.
