Built with home and small offices in mind, Brother's MFC-295CN All-In-One Inkjet Printer delivers the performance and versatility needed to keep workflows moving. It has a built-in wired network interface (Ethernet) that enables users to share this 4-in-1 with multiple computers. Adding to workflow efficiency, the MFC-295CN features a 15-sheet Auto Document Feeder (ADF) that makes unattended faxing, copying, and scanning a breeze, and a 100-sheet input tray. The unit's flatbed scanner/copier will accommodate a variety of media sizes up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches.
The MCF-295CN produces documents and photos at speeds up to 33 pages per minute in B&W and 27 pages per minute in Color with print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200dpi. This multi-function device also has embedded media slots to allow users to print directly from USB Flash media devices, PictBridge compatible digital cameras or memory cards. It also will help to save money as it uses 4-individual ink cartridges that only need to be replaced when depleted.

Comments about Brother MFC-295CN All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer:
Overall this printer is easy to use, isn't too large, has reasonable ink usage and is available for a good price. What more could you ask for?.

Comments about Brother MFC-295CN All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer:
Although the MFC295CN has some good points (among others: it's compact, somewhat durable, & inexpensive), it has one fault that overwhelms all else: the manufacturer has gone to such extraordinary lengths to prevent using refilled ink cartridges that other functions unduly fail.
The software blocks ALL functions-- including those not using ink-- if it detects (often inaccurately) refilled ink cartridges or low levels of ink. My unit regularly determines NEW, genuine Brother ink cartridges are undetectable, empty or low enough to shut down all functions; so much so, the experience feels punitive!
I'd guess there's a fix, but I haven't found it. So far all avenues of communication Brother has provided have been obtuse or irrelevant to the problem, and unresponsive to warranty claims.
This "All-in-one" also has other functions that have been frustrating, but I'm now beyond words...

Comments about Brother MFC-295CN All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer:
Looks like the decision to get a Brother product was the right choice[...]Very easy set-up and was in use immediately. The All in one will used mostly for black and with printing with some photograph prints. Will be scanning some old photos for the family genealogy album.

Comments about Brother MFC-295CN All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer:
we have a small business, and for the quality of the scanning, faxing, and printing, I can't believe how inexpensive it was. the best part is the cost of ink, which is literally pennies, especially when comparing to other brands.

Comments about Brother MFC-295CN All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer:
The main feature for me is the LAN option. I have read there are problems with wireless printers and this printer with LAN can be used by all computers in the LAN and wireless computers also through a wireless router. Brother is a known brand for small businesses and I like that there are 4 cartridges instead of 2.
