Purchased 4 of these for workers D700 cameras. Every single one of them has problems with intermittently not being recognized by the camera, causing a low battery warning, requiring you to take the Nikon brand battery out of the grip and fall back on the battery in the camera. Also, even tightening the wheel as much as possible, still shifts slightyly when using the camera. We have one Nikon brand battery grip, tested on all 4 of the D700 cameras, and it has none of these issues.

This is a nice option vs. the much higher priced Nikon grip. Does what it needs to and has a nice bonus of a wireless shutter release.

I bought this product with my Nikon D700. It helps extends the frames per second on the camera, works great for additional power as well.
The grip works both vertical and horizontal and allows shooting with ease. It accepts my spare battery and allows the use AA batteries as well.
