I've owned and used the moshi clearguard for almost two weeks now. While no such guard will equal the natural feel of the keyboard, for those paranoid about keeping your MBP clean (I've got the MBP 17" unibody), the slight loss in feel is totally worth it. The guard hugs the keys well, and it's super thin so it really doesn't take any additional pressure to press the keys. So far mine stays in place just fine, except for when I sometimes press the right arrow key at the bottom right of my keyboard - now and then then cover slips up a bit, presumably because my pinkie is sort of pulling away from the corner after I press the key. If you press straight down on the button and release straight up, there's no problem at all. But this is very minor, and hardly a serious complaint. The great thing is that it doesn't take long for you to literally see the build up of oil and dirt on the clearguard, which would otherwise be going directly on your keys. Everytime I see this I'm relieved to be using the product, which can be cleaned. All in all, definitely recommend. (Oh, but I do think it's overpriced. $10 seems more reasonable to me.)

I use a cover to keep my keys clean and had high hopes for my new unibody Macbook Pro and this cover. It does a good job of keeping the area clean but it does contribute to more errors in typing and a more difficult time in pressing the keys. I will continue to use it, however.

I purchased this product before my MacBook Pro 13 came in the mail so as soon as I unboxed the computer, I could throw the ClearGuard on and have instant protection. I've had my computer and ClearGuard for almost 3 weeks and they're both great. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to keep the MacBook keyboard looking brand new!

The product is very thin. It is a slightly loose though, and you can definitely notice it as you type. But it does provide protection from dirt. I haven't used it long enough to notice any grease build up, but clean-up instructions are fairly easy to follow.

The only thing I don't like about this product is that it doesn't latch down in any way. Sometimes it pops up in places, which I find annoying. I wish I could somehow fasten or stick it down around the edges. Otherwise, it's great.

I'm a physician, and I believe the soap we use has always rapidly warn off certain Powerbook and, lately, MacBook Pro keys so that they become unreadable. Plus, of course, gunk inevitably accumulates and, on a laptop, can fall directly onto the circuit boards below. So when I recently made my most recent upgrade, to a 15" Quad Core i7 MBP, I was determined to get the best protection available. MacWorld liked the Moshi and, after trying several others, I agree. It's so thin and light I really don't know when it's on in terms of key feel or appearance (though I believe it does significantly soften key noise, which is nice), and there's no problem leaving it on when I close the MBP. The only con: I do forget it's on, and if I open it in any position where the keyboard isn't level, the Moshi will become dislodged. This is a minor problem; it's never slipped off while I'm using it, the fit is too snug for that, nor has it ever fallen off the keyboard completely.

Works well. The version purchased for my iMac seems to fit better than this one for MacBook Air. Keyboard well covered but the edge is a couple of mm's bigger than necessary so that it curves up.

I would definitely recommend this keyboard cover for all mac users! It is super thin. When you type you don't even feel it! It blends in so well with my macbook pro - the new 2011 version - that I can hardly see it. I would absolutely buy this again for any of my computers in the future! Please note that I am super picky and researched a lot before I bought. Hopefully, this will save you the time; just buy it, you'll be glad you did!

I purchased two of these, one for a Macbook Pro and one for a Macbook Air. Both fit nicely and are virtually transparent when installed. You can feel a difference when the ClearGuard is installed, but it does not interfere with typing in any way. It successfully keeps pet hair, moisture and dust out from under the keys on the keyboards. I use mine every day, and it has held up pretty well under heavy use. There are some fingerprint smudges starting to appear, but a simple wipe down with a moist clothe should take care of this. Also, on the Macbook Pro, it does not interfere with the backlit keys, and that was one of the main reasons why I went with the more expensive fully transparent one instead of a $2.00 cover on other sites. Only negative thing is it has negligible weight, and won't stay down if wind hits it. I would not attempt to use this product outside for that reason. It would likely blow away.
