Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
Used to have a Canon underwater housing that did not seal as well as these newer models. The quality and ease of use has come a long way. Just be sure to use the silicon gel provided each time you use it.

Great small and light reasonably priced water tight case. Perfect for snorkeling and sailing and relatively shallow light duty SCUBA.

This really works well and opens up all kinds of new photographic opportunities. Was going to buy a Hero HD but got this instead. The design and ability to adjust the controls is amazing. A really nice work of engineering. Camera stayed dry.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
The case feels very substantial, and it never leaked during a week long rafting trip. I used it under water (maybe 2 feet) and in very wet and rough conditions, and it did great. All knobs and buttons held up to rough handling.
The buttons and knobs take some getting used to. It's a good idea to spend a day using it in its case to get familiar with how to actuate all the functions.
Only three minor nits: the image quality (especially in sunny conditions) was noticeably lower than without the case. The flash doesn't work particularly well because the camera bulk shades it. It comes with a diffuser, but I was afraid it would fall off. Also, a more minor nit, I suppose, the microphone doesn't do well in the case when shooting video, but I can't see how they could improve on that. It does work, but you'll mostly hear the shooter's voice, not the subjects'.

Even though there is no control for the ring on the back, the S90 front ring and the available buttons provide enough control to get the job done. Great build quality. Don't clean the back surface with anything but a good lens cloth as it will scratch up over time.

What can I say, it works!
Camera did not fit with the third party grip I had installed on it, so I had to remove it. You'll also have to remove the strap.
Nice tight fit, all the knobs work. You can't rotate the command dial on the back so have to do some advanced planning in some shooting modes.
Would be nice if front was threaded for accessory lenses like the more expensive cases by other companies.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
My first underwater pictures turned out really great on my latest trip to Cozumel. I found that the flash was nearly useless and used the battery fast, making it best to take pictures when sunlight penetrates the surface. Deeper than 6m (or murky water) would require a separate strobe. Also, setting the review display on hold emptied the battery quickly, but after turning this off, I could snorkel for four hours.
I'm used to using SLRS so it's annoying how long it takes from you press the shutter until the picture is taken. I also found that the camera automatically adjusts the shutter speed even if it's on shutter speed priority (could be that there's a way to fix this that I don't know), and this gave many blurry photos, but with an OK exposure.
But the bottom line is, this camera housing opened up a new world to me.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
This little housing makes exactly what it is meant to do, keep your camera dry for underwater photography. The buttons are easy to operate, easier than in other plastic housings. It lacks the rear dial control and it would be nice to have a 67 mm front thread for accesory lenses, but there are adaptors available.
The zoom control is spring loaded unlike other plastic housings.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
Took it to Hawaii and worked well for snorkeling and pool side use.
Unfortunately the lack of control over the spinning rear dial had me opening the case too much to adjust it possibly compromising the seal by introducing dirt.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
I just came back from a vacation to Thailand where I used the case to take fun family shots on the beach and in the swimming pool, as well as some photos while snorkeling. The case is easy to use, versatile and definitely water-tight. Also, what is nice about it is that it does not preclude the camera from recording sound in video mode (the sound is nevertheless somewhat muted as one would expect). All controls are easily accessible.
The only issue that I noticed is that there is sometime some condensation forming up just in front of the lens after use underwater.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
This water proof case for my Canon S90 is exactly what i thought it would be. Kept my camera safe while letting me take excellent underwater photos. Big buttons allow for me to use all the cameras features even while wearing my thick neoprene gloves.
One draw back is that at times it can be dificult to see what you are aiming at. THi shappens especially if you surface to take a couple of shots at the water's edge.

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
After doing lake photography for 15 years, using everything from enhanced baggies to rather nice digital cases, I think this is one combination that will satisfy me for a long time.
The case is very nicely made, well sealed, and well thought out. But the real joy is being able to use the S90 for underwater photography. This excellent camera with the highly desirable "raw" capability is about as good as it gets without delving into much pricier and more complicated alternatives. Plus, it's nice and compact.
If you want to use an accessory flash, you will need the type that triggers off of the camera flash - not a major difficulty. The case itself can control all of the functions of the camera, though the handy rear control ring is not available (the front one is!). The maze of buttons makes it necessary to practice for a while with the rig to learn what controls what, but everything is there. I expect to be using this for years to come. Maybe a trip to the Bahamas??

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
I used the case to protect my camera at Burning Man. The conditions there were high heat and very heavy, fine dust. It was a very harsh environment as the dust was like talcum powder.
It did a great job sealing out dust. Controls were easy to engage and worked flawlessly. I got what I expected and paid for.
Pros:
protection
ease of use
no negative impact on image quality
solid build and fit
Cons:
soft plastic case, not lens window, susceptible to scratches (but hey, I didn't use it underwater)
hard to read LCD in bright light (again I was in the desert)
cost

Comments about WP-DC35 Case for Canon PowerShot S90:
I love this camera housing! It worked great for my needs. I went to Hawaii last week and toted it around with me to every beach we went to. My photos came out a lot clearer than they would've if i used a disposable camera. The photo clarity underwater usually depended on the clarity of the water - Hawaii has beautiful 'blue' water which was pretty clear most of the time.
I found it easy to use the camera's features (zoom, flash, etc) and navigate through the different menus even when I was in the middle of snorkeling.
Make sure to read the user manual prior to using the camera housing. It contains important instructions on how to prepare your housing before use and how to care for it when you aren't using it. Gotta protect your investment that's protecting your investment right?
Don't think about it any more S90 owners...just buy it already! You'll love it too :-)
