Pentax Optio W80 Waterproof Digital Camera (Cardinal Red) With Accessory Kit

The Pentax Optio W80 Digital Camera is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof, and coldproof. The lens has a Super Protect (SP) coating applied to the mineral crystal cover of the internal zoom to help repel water, grime and finger marks. The Optio W80 is designed to operate at temperatures as low as 14°F (-10°C), making it great for skiing, snowmobiling and other cold-weather ventures.

The W80 can be used underwater at depths up to 16-feet for up to two hours of continuous operation. The Underwater Movie mode automatically optimizes color for underwater movie shooting. Built with shock-absorbent materials incorporated into its durable interior, the Optio W80 can withstand the impact of a fall from a height of 3' (1 m).

The Optio W80, is equipped with a 5X internal optical zoom (equivalent to 28-140mm), a slim 1-inch body, adjustable-brightness 2.5" LCD with an anti-reflective coating. With 12.1 megapixels, images can easily be blown up to large-size prints with edge-to-edge sharpness.

This tough camera is equipped with 25 different scene modes which when engaged, maximizes camera setting to optimize exposure and camera settings.It has Automatic Face Detection which can find up to 32 faces, then optimizes focus and exposure in about 0.03 seconds. Plus, it has Smile Capture and Blink Detection for portraiture. The Optio W80 has triple anti-shake protection modes to compensate for camera movement while capturing stills and HD (1280x720p) movies on land and underwater.
