CHAUVET Kinta X DMX Effects Light
The Chauvet Kinta X DMX Effects Light is a 20-lens hanging LED fixture that has become increasingly popular for concert, entertainment, DJ and dance club venues. The fixture projects a barrage of multi-colored light rays or beams distributed vertically and horizontally in a 135 degree pattern for floor to ceiling coverage. For more intensity and greater coverage, up to 3 units may be stacked together via the optional X Bracket. The Kinta X has a built-in motor which controls user-selectable continuous rotation or back and forth movement.
Operating modes include Stand Alone Mode, which allows a single unit to respond to the beat of the music via an internal microphone. The sound sensitivity can be adjusted by turning a knob on the rear of the light.
In Master/Slave Mode, the user can link up to 32 units together via DMX cables without a controller. All units mimic the settings entered on the first or "Master" unit. Maximum serial link distance is 500 meters (1640 feet).
In DMX Mode, individual or ganged units are controlled remotely by any universal DMX controller (available separately).
The Kinta X can operate on voltages from 100-240VAC.

Nice description. [...] Very pleasent buying experiance. The light works fine. I am still learning about dipswitches and how to operas the pc dmx board controll. Havnt actually been able to gain dmx control but that's down to me and I am still learning. I was a little disappointed to find there isn't as much dmx control as I expected. I thought from the photo that each beam was seperate and individually controlable.The auto routine is fun enough when I run it with my lasers and other lights .It fills the room floor and ceiling. Beams are nice when smoke is added. The price is great [...]Two of these units in a room would be cool.The auto patterns run a little fast for me but dmx control will probably solve that. If you don't have a dmx control then this unit is not for you. You will be left with just the repeated auto pattern. But with dmx control you can program a show. I was hoping that at least each row of beams could be operated seperately but they operate all as one . You have control of left right up down and the size of circles it goes in . For the price I am absolutely satisfied .watch the YouTube reviews and demo videos . If this is the light you are looking for , these are the people to buy it from.

Bought this light for a smaller basement party. Uses LED so no duty cycle. Throws a wide pattern of lights, easily able to fill a much larger area with ease. Added some fog to enhance the light and was an instant hit. Strobe mode is also a plus and sets the mood.

This is a great center peice type light, right now I am using it as a stand alone in the music chase mode and I am very happy with all of the different pre set programs. I can't wait to hook it up to a DMX board.
