The TouchSmart 600-1050 All-in-One Desktop Computer from Hewlett-Packard is a compact desktop computer with an intuitive touch-screen interface. This design aesthetically complements any work environment or living room. A wireless keyboard and mouse are included to accentuate the clean desktop look that this computer gives you.
HP includes the powerful TouchSmart software suite that facilitates interaction with the computer by touch. It allows you to create music playlists, watch videos, organize photos, read RSS feeds, browse the web, manage your calendar, and record notes: all by touch.
The system is powered by a 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500 processor and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 750GB 7200rpm SATA hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD Burner, and NVIDIA GeForce G200 graphics. The built-in HDTV Tuner lets you watch, pause, rewind, and record live TV. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), along with its included multi-touch accessibility features, ties all this hardware and software together.

I just got HP TouchSmart 600 two weeks ago. It delivered high quality - video, speed and other typical PC applications. I would have rated this even higher, but the system encountered a problem, for instance, it froze frequently and had to be re-booted to restore function when I installed Noton antivirus. Overall, I think it is worth the price I paid and it is performing as prescribed.I highly recommend this product.

I must say that I have never contemplated this much over buying a new PC. After 3 month of goggling and comparing, I could not find any real convincing comparisons, so I hope this helps whoever is considering/deciding on this computer. My choices were either the touch Sony Viao or this absolutely amazing HP TouchSmart. I based my choice on a number of features but the two most importatnt one I want to share is: One - the specs on memory, etc. Two - the dedicated touchsmart home button where all of your important things can be kept in the same place, such as notes, calendar, favorite programs, links etc. Also, this computer is very kids friendly. I wanted this computer to serve as a family computer and so far my children (4 and 6 years old) are having a blast. They draw with their fingers, learn letters, numbers and a whole lot more. Few other things I want to mention:1.This all in one is surprisingly very quite (compared to my other non touch all in one Sony Vaio).2.Super super user friendly.3.The touch feature is sensitive but not inconvenient.4.Fast and so easy to set up.5.Very clear picture while watching movies.6.Quite fast All in all, I was very hesitant into stepping over to HP but I am so happy with my choice for numerous reason which I think I couldn't have enouth room to write about.
