This works perfectly attaching a Diana lens to my Canon 5d, but once it's on the lens you cannot get it off, making it far too large to store properly, and you can no longer use the back cap to the lens which is a real drag. It's also a bit flimsy looking/feeling for the cost.

I had been wanted to try a cheap special effects for a while so I went for a lamography lens. Lensbaby is out of my budget. And I wanted something for both landscape and portrait shots. This thing is cheap. In good ways. You can get the lamographic effect but it takes real practice. There are no instructions on how to even attempt it though!
For the price I paid I can live with the material construction of pure plastic that can get crushed in an instant. But first timers are going to be scratching their heads about what the exact effect is supposed to be other a possibly over exposed image with little clarity on a bright day.
I still loads of practice myself but it can be real fun for the creative effects and somewhat surreal looks you can get on your shots. But, your not likely to get them right away unless your use to this kind of photography. And I'm not.
Fun toy, good price. Any higher quality material would be nice, but then the price would be higher too.

It's a lens adapter, enough said
Only con though is with the Diana lenses it doesn't snap in place so if you don't hold the lens it will eventually slide off on you

I use this adapter to take a preview shot with my canon SRL and then take the picture in a 120 film on my Diana F+, it gives me perfect exposure shoots...

Even though i didn't capture any "diana camera" style photos the adaptor is pretty cool and works well. It would be nice if they made it that the lens doesnt fall off all the time.

This adapter is one of the neatest things, I use it on my 1D and it is cool. The photos are soft and have a very lomo feel to them. If you have a Diana and a Canon you should pick one of these up, they are cheap and light weight plus they give clients something most people can't. I meter it at f/2.8 and it seems to work great!
