The Pavilion dm3-1030us Entertainment Notebook Computer from Hewlett-Packard is a compact 13.3" notebook that weighs less than 5 pounds. I needed a new personal laptop after 5 years of the old one. I wanted something really light (at 4 lbs. this is perfect) but wanted a lot of space that a netbook could not deliver. I got this device with 320 GB of hard drive space. There is no optical drive, but making CDs did not matter to be as much as portability, performance and space. This has it all and for an amazing price. Beats a Mac book at $999 every time.
