The Aspire AS1410-2801 Notebook Computer from Acer is an ultra-slim 11.6" notebook computer, designed with functionality and portability in mind. The notebook features a 16:9 aspect ratio 11.6" screen with a LED backlight for optimal image quality. It weighs a scant 3.1 pounds, and is only about an inch thick when closed. Its Lithium-ion battery can provide up to 6 hours of life per charge.
Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is installed on the computer, which features a spacious 160GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM. The integrated webcam and microphone are great for video chats, and you'll be able to get online via the integrated dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi. Its multi-gesture touchpad supports circular-motion scrolling, pinch-action zoom, and page flip. The full-size FineTip keyboard provides comfortable typing.
An integrated card reader allows you to download photos onto the computer. An extensive software bundle, which includes Microsoft Works and McAfee Internet Security Suite, is installed on the system. The computer is powered by an Intel Celeron Processor SU2300, with graphics provided by the Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated GPU.

This is an excellent product, even better than I thought it would be. Considering it's a small screen netbook, the visual quality of photos and videos are exceptional. Windows 7 Home Premium is fine and the battery power is better than my larger, full-size laptop.
It boots up quickly, has good range on the wireless connections and thus far has been completely trouble free and done as much, or more, than I needed from it.
It's a great purchase. I do miss having an optical drive, but downloading software has proven easier than I thought, but I still may get an external DVD drive to use with the Netbook.

I've been VERY happy with the computer. It is a dual core processor with windows 7 home premium. It is perfect for mobility and functionality. Screen is VERY clear, computer is very responsive. This has replaced my desktop and is my only computer.
