The Aspire Timeline AS3810T-8737 Notebook Computer from Acer is an ultra-slim 13.3" notebook computer with a wide 16:9 aspect ratio LED backlit display. Designed with all-day computing in mind, the Timeline's energy-efficient design allows it to operate for more than 8 hours on a single charge.
The system is about an inch thin when closed, and weighs a scant 3.5 pounds. It is perfect for almost any computing task, including e-mail, school work, financial management, and entertainment. Its multi-gesture trackpad and comfortable keyboard make the computer a joy to use.
The system is powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU7300 CPU and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and an integrated HD webcam. Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD card, and Windows 7 Home Premium is installed as the operating system.

Based on Principled Technologies' benchmark testing, using Bapco's MobileMark 2007 Productivity test. Battery life varies depending on product specifications, computer settings, and applications or features launched, and may be reduced if Windows Aero is enabled. The Acer PowerSmart button must be enabled to achieve the 8+ hours. All batteries' maximum capacity diminishes with time and use.

Great laptop, very small and light, plenty of power to run Windows 7 without a hitch. Claimed 8+ hour battery life is true (for web browsing or other low power type activities).
The screen is very thin and as a consequence it does feel a little delicate when opening and closing the lid (can't have light-and-thin without losing some strength however).
Would definitely recommend.

The laptop is light, speed is OK and Win 7 is solid. However the cooling fan consistently runs even the laptop is very cool and run at cool environment, a little bit noisy because of that.

I did a lot of online research to find the best laptop for my needs. I needed small size, but not too small, plenty of processing power and memory, and good battery life. Eventually I found it on BHphoto for the lowest price online. This computer turned out to be excellent. I was new to Windows 7 but it has been very easy to get used to. I am very satisfied with the Acer AS3810T-8737.
