The SX2802-03 Desktop Computer from Gateway is a desktop computer with a powerful quad-core processor. no problems with the computer! love it. having problems with using tv as monitor. VGA cable causes waves, 2 HDMI cables cause intermittent black screen. Not sure if its the tv or cables but unlikely to have 3 bad cables. Would recommend the computer!

This is a nice setup. Small compact system and extremely quiet (about the same as a laptop). This makes my old computer sound like a diesel.
Takes up very little room.
General home use is all. The only issue I've had so far is my old digital speakers don't work with it directly. I had to buy an optical to digital converter which converts the Toslink connection to a digital RCA. The sound card does have a 5.1 connection setup (3.5mm) but my speakers specifically require a digital signal which apparently the 3.5mm plugs do not provide.
I too notice the DVD drive button is odd, but a solid deliberate push (with some muscle) gets it open every time.

Pros: It has a 1TB hard drive, a Core 2 Quad processor, and 6GB DDR2 memory in a smaller box than HP Pavilion Slimline series and Dell Inspiron 580s and Studio Slim series. It has reasonable pricing compared to the above Dell and HP series. it is a great computer for everyday use.
Con: The button for the optical drive is had to push to eject.

Small in size but large in features. 6 Gigs of RAM and a terabite HD. Windows 7 does not have all the bugs worked out yet but is a good OS. No internal access point is a minus but other than than it comes with all the routine things a user could want.
