The Mola Lumi Tilt Bracket makes it possible to use the Mola 22" Demi beauty dish with your speedlight or Lumedyne flash for studio-quality beauty light with a small, on-camera flash. This combination speed ring and tilt bracket comes with a Lumilux diffuser made of Lexan (the Demi reflector is sold separately). Optional interior diffusion (PAD or Opal glass) and exterior diffusion (nylon, LW or Mola mesh) are also available. The Lumi allows speedlights to slide into place on a cold shoe and comes with a cold shoe flash mount for your radio slave on the same bracket. A separate Lumedyne speed ring that attaches to the Lumi to transfer the strain from the Lumedyne head to the bracket is also available separately.

The Lumi tilt bracket is very solidly built and manufactured to work with Speedlite's, however, its design was not very well thought out. The locking handle for the swivel mount is too long and hits both the beauty dish and the extra flash mount extension used to hold the radio slave in place. This makes it impossible to tighten the mount fully and therefore the beauty dish will not maintain its position. The only way to resolve this is to cut a portion of the handle off in order to provide the necessary clearance. This extra flash mount is designed for the older pocket wizards and requires an additional cable to attach to your flash. If you have the TTL5 Pocket Wizard there is not enough clearance to mount it directly to the flash as the speedlite will no longer fit through the hole due to the combined extended height of both units. The only work around I have found is to mount the flash directly to a TTL off camera flash cord and then mount the provided locking screw upside down and directly to the flash cord in order to maintain clearance. This allows the flash to rest inside the beauty dish as originally designed although just barely. You can then attach the TTL5 unit to the extra shoe mount provided. For the price paid, this product does not meet expectations.
