Using the e9230f as a dedicated computer for a digital darkroom. Setup was very easy, and the performance of the computer is excellent with the ability to handle several digital darkroom tasks concurrently.

Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Elite e9230f Desktop Computer:
bought this computer to replace a 6 year old Gateway that basically died on me. Obviously, i was seriously overdue for an update and the power of this system really made that clear. It is whisper quiet, loaded with 8GB of RAM which has allowed me to surf the internet, use lightroom, listen to music on winamp, copy DVD's all at once without any glitches. (i don't normally do so much at once, but i figured i would put all that ram to the test and it did the job.)One big complaint is the dvd bay door and open/close button probably cost less than 1 cent to make. it is TOTALLY CHEAP, FLIMSY AND MUST BE HANDLED WITH CARE. if a mouse gets an urge to come along and touch the button, it would probably break. It is almost shocking how cheap the drive enclosure is.
another annoyance is some of the bloatware on the system. get rid of it. Especially annoying is the HP media center. i have no use for it so bye bye!!
Comments about HP / Hewlett-Packard Pavilion Elite e9230f Desktop Computer:
I don't know much about computers but so far it is working great. Very easy to set up. I'm not so crazy about the power button being on top of the tower but what can you do. The Windows 7 is taking a bit of getting used to but that's my only complaint so far. It is very quiet compared to my last computer.
