Comments about Lexmark S305 Impact Wireless All-In-One Printer:
I've had it only about 10 days, but I am pleased with how quiet it is. It feels much more solid, higher quality than the HP 6500 it replaced. And it's quicker to prepare itself to print.
As far as I can tell, you can't turn it off completely except by unplugging it; so it's always in standby mode, wasting energy. And on the old Hp, I could choose any of 3 print qualities -- very helpful for minimizing ink use, so I miss that feature. It's way too soon for me to know if it is durable, reliable, or low on ink consumption.

Comments about Lexmark S305 Impact Wireless All-In-One Printer:
I like this printer cuz its wireless, we can print something from anywhere in the house. only bad thing so far is it has this error sometimes when we have to remove the printerhead and put it back in. Is kind of a hassle to take out and put it. But overall, this printer is great so far!

Comments about Lexmark S305 Impact Wireless All-In-One Printer:
I needed an affordable wireless to replace my HPC3180. Nothing wrong with the HP, just needed wireless. Home use mainly, some take home work, and some school papers. Setup took a fairly long time. Connectivity was a breeze. However, eventhough there was clear communication with my router I was unable to print. [...] If you're going wireless, they recommend first establish all of the comm. through the USB wire, then removing it. That seemed to do the trick. The only hinky thing right now is that it doesn't want to wake up and print without an error. In other words, once its asleep and I send a print job I get an error. Its easily cleared and the print job comes through, but its something I'm going to call cust svc about. Just used the scan feature tonight and it was also very easy. So far so good. I don't like top feeder trays as the paper tends to bend over and it adds extra height to the machine. Unfortunately no machine has it all exactly the way you want it.

Comments about Lexmark S305 Impact Wireless All-In-One Printer:
Bought this printer a couple of weeks ago so can't comment on longevity, but setup was ridiculously easy - both for the printer itself and for the wireless connection - just follow the instructions precisely as given, and no problem at all. Paper feeds straight (unlike Canon printers I've had in past). Print quality fine for home/school use. I'm really happy with the functionality and ease of use especially at this price point.
