We received 2 of these, as compliments to our purchase of 2 - 32GB Eee Pad Transformer Tablet by Asus. When they arrived, we anticipated that they would be used to transfer data from our PCs to the tablet. They fit the PC fine, but not the tablet. We don't really have a need to hook 2 PCs together, but it would be nice to hook the tablet and PC up. Instead we found an app for the tablet to remotely transfer data and files back and forth over our wireless network. We will keep these two cables, they both seem like quality work. I am sure at some point we will need to connect two PCs.

I bought this so I could share the cd drive of my home computer with my new netbook. It works well to share the internet connection,but I had problems using the cd drive. Keeps wanting a password. I googled and found others had this issue as well.

Excellent way to swap info between computers and share resources. Super easy to use! Gotta get one - particularly if upgrading to Win 7

I used the crosslink to load programs from my desktop dvd player. It worked great. The connection is automatic so there is nothing to program. You just tell it if you want to use an optical drive, use the internet or access files from the host computer and off you go. It doesn't leave anything behind that I could find so there should be no problem using a freinds or public computer.
