It is made from soft, shape-memory, low-resilience polyurethane (LRPu) fabric with 5.0mm thick interior protection. The sleeve will protect the notebook against scratches and has an inner lip for maximum protection.

As long as you've got the measurements down (I didnt buy it for a mac, I bought it for a Toshiba protoge), its perfect as a strong, durable,and good looking sleeve.
With it had hooks for a shoulder strap..oh well
