I struggled to find a back pack - all camera or part camera and storage. I decided on the all camera Adventure 75. Why? Because of the MAS system I could expand storage and grow with my back pack. The MX5364 are great quality nylon pockets that easily attach to my Adventure 75 back pack.
I just came back from Yosemite and the MX-5364 were perfect additions to carry my water bottle, maps and snacks while taking pictures and hiking.
I would highly recommend Tamrac and the MAS system.

I bought these to attach to the tamrac expedition 9x backpack. This is a nice opportunity to even pack more stuff into your backpack. Just be aware that the whole pack is not becoming more lightweight by doing this. The good thing is you can just use as a 'box' for photo stuff and put into your hiking backback so it will be protected.

Comments about Tamrac MX-5364 M.A.S. Side Pockets, Medium:
At first I was going to send them back - they're so YOOJ. But now I am finding them useful for general storage - including, most important, a place for my film rangefinder (a nice, unexpected use). Basically, I could throw a sub sandwich in there as well (in a ziploc of course) along with the rangefinder and still have room left over for a few rolls of film - but overall, its light weight and the fact that it can easily slide behind me on the MAS belt, makes these a worthwhile, catch-all (and I mean all) keep.

These are nicely made add-on pockets but I underestimated their size. Oh well, I'll fill them with more stuff :)

Good size for a 80-200 2.8 (without hood). It will slide onto a fanny pack. The mesh pocket seems like it wear out quickly but time will tell.
