Porta Brace SP-1 Sack Pack, Small - for Audio, Photo and Video Gear (Blue)
The Porta Brace SP-1 Sack Pack Small (Blue) is a tote bag used to carry miscellaneous accessories of all kinds. It is as handy and simple to use as a shopping bag but with all the extra advantages of a well constructed case. The sack has two slip pockets, one on the front and one on the back. It is constructed of a double layer of 1000 denier Cordura, and foam-padded bottoms. There is a cinching cord around the top edge that provides a tight seal.

Small bag I am using to transport audio cables. Lite weight and durable as all portabrace seem to be. Has no padding except for the thick material.
If you need protection from more then scuffs buy a different product.

You will feel secure carrying your A/V gear to any event because the suede leather handle that covers the indestructible canvas bag strap not only looks and feels good in your hand it adds that final touch of high quality you've come to know from Porta Brace. The "Sp-1 Sack Pak" set is a perfect pair for your gear. I like them for so many reasons. The Large bag is perfect for the many 50' A/C cords and other electrical devices needed on a shoot or live performance gig and there's enough space after that for even more gear. The smaller bag is great for audio cables and other more sensitive gear. Each bag has an additional outside pocket with velcro for secure transportation of important items like a few granola bars or even the edit decision list.
The "SP-1 Sack Pak" Porta Brace Bags are made from heavy duty canvas with heavy duty stitching on the seams. The base of each bag has a dense material sewn into the bottom chamber for strength, protection and durability. There is a draw string at the top of each bag to tie in the contents for better and more secure transportation of your gear. The extra handle on the outside of each bag allows for better ergonomics of lifting your gear into the car or production van. My favorite part of the construction is the blue canvas they are made of because it is like everything else about these high quality Porta Brace bags; it just works for me.

it's not to be used for any kind of protection, but... it's a nice bag to throw stuff in.
