With 4000 ISO Lumens and a contrast ratio of 2000:1 the XGA-resolution Epson PowerLite 1915 Multimedia Projector has the projection power to present large images in venues where ambient light would be a problem for lesser projectors.
However, it's a gentle giant that works and plays well with others. It's got an international 100 – 240 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply and it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals. It can also project 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition signals. And those signals will stay in pristine digital form from the source thanks to the 1915's HDMI port.
All of those signals benefit from the bright and high contrast Epson 3LCD projector panel. 3LCD delivers clear and vibrant images so true to life you may not believe your eyes.
The 1915 is also PC friendly. You can plug your PC into one of the 1915's two USB Type A ports and use it to project a slide show or presentation. The other USB Type A port allows you to connect an optional document camera. You can use the projector's USB Type B port to use the remote control as a wireless mouse. You can also plug in a USB flash drive or camera and present without a PC at all.
This projector is also equipped to use your local network (LAN) in a wired (via its RJ45 jack) configuration or wirelessly (WiFi) via its 802.11 a/b/g capability. You can make presentations from any PC on your network and you can manage, monitor and control the projector using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). You can send important announcements like rescheduling information or weather updates to a fleet of 1915s. They, in turn can email you to alert you to faults (temperature too high, lamp reaching the end of its life and so on.)
With Direct Power On you can set the 1915 to turn itself on as soon as it's plugged into the wall socket. And with Epson's Instant Off technology there is no cool down period. As soon as you turn the projector off you can pack it into its included carrying case and move on.

We ordered this projector when we learned the room for our symposium had full glass doors, letting in a lot of light. Presentations were bright on the screen. It was very easy to set up.

Comments about Epson PowerLite 1915 Multimedia Projector:
Purchased for church. Works perfectly in sanctuary where it is not possible to adjust lighting because of stained glass windows. Did not check reliable performance box because we have only used it twice. So far there are no "cons".
