I considered buying an iPad and I'm so glad I bought this instead! This has so much memory and it runs fast too. Easy setup, simple to use. Looks great and weighs so little. A great purchase.

I take this computer to class everyday. I love the battery life, and how light it is. Perfect if you have to run to catch a bus or something. I have never had a netbook before, and I miss the speed of my old full laptop, but I am definitely getting all that I paid for.

So far I'm very pleased with this computer! I ordered it to use when I travel away from home to the beach. I think it will work perfectly for that. The keyboard has taken a little getting used to, but I'm getting better with it the more I use it. A great product for a great price.

The EeePC is a great value. I purchased this one for myself, because we already have two WinXP EeePC's in use by employees for remote access.
I would not recommend Win7 Starter, though, unless you have no need to network or share printers.

if you're a speed-typist! I'm a student and I frequently bring my laptop in to transcribe notes from lectures or guest speakers in class; a laptop keyboard generates too much noise in some situations so I tried out the keyboard on a number of netbooks and this was the only one that I could use with a) any degree of accuracy at typing speeds in excess of 125 wpm and b) with enough noise reduction that it is appropriate for the use to which I'm applying it.

I use this little gizmo for web browsing, email, and to take notes at meetings. Keyboard is small but usable. I like how it boots quickly. Battery life is good but, as usual, not up to the manufacturers claims. I love the size, weight, and ease of use.

I can't really complain too much about this computer. For a small keyboard, it's surprisingly intuitive to type on. The screen is good, but the resolution is nothing amazing (1024x768). The processor is fine, but I wouldn't try anything really intense either. I bought this for word processing, internet, and programming.

What I don't like is Windows 7 Starter Edition. It's a stupid, retarded version of Windows 7. I really wish I knew ahead of time, but I guess that's my fault. If you want a full version of Windows 7, I'll have to pony up another $80 to upgrade.

In summary, I'd recommend this netbook as long as you understand how stupid Windows 7 is.

This netbook is small enough and powerfull enough to get work done while commuting on the train. Allows you to make idle time productive. The long battery life is also a great feature.

I bought this computer for my Mom to keep in touch and surf the web. It's a powerful computer in a small package. This larger keyboard is a big benefit for those with less than nimble fingers. But the stylish design and light weight make it easy to carry around. The only negative I've seen is the limited software included. You'll most likely need to upgrade to the full MS 7 platform to have any real office suite applications. Overall it was a great choice for a great price.

I use the product to check email and surf the internet while traveling or around the house. The battery life is exceptional and Windows 7 is much faster than Vista. Only con is you can't watch a DVD but that was already known prior to the purchase.
