This is a replacement for the original equipment lens cap (which I had lost) so the quality is great. Much more solidly built than the cheap aftermarket lens caps. Looks great with the Canon logo. Only thing I can think of that is not so great is the parts you press in on the side could be a little bigger to let you get the cap off in a hurry when you need to. But that's a minor thing and after all this is a lens cap, not a high-tech camera or lens.

After I lost the original Canon front lens cap for my 17-85, I bought an aftermarket replacement, a Promaster and it actually touched the front element!!! This Canon original equipment front cap is essential. I never thought I'd say it, but "accept no substitutes!" Also, it just looks sweet.
