Canon ET-73 Lens Hood for Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS Lens
The Canon ET-73 Lens Hood is designed for the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS Lens. The hood is primarily designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens.
In addition, since the end of the lens is extended, you also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact. The lens hood will not create any vignetting.

I own a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro Lens. After ordering this hood it was apparent that it did not fit, the inner diameter of the hood is larger than the outer diameter of my lens. Unbeknownst to me Canon makes two versions of the 100mm lens, one with a 58mm opening and the other with a 67mm opening. The ET 73 fits on the 67mm and the ET 67 fits on the 58mm lens. [...]
