This is the simplest solution to enable using an MTX24 flash with a Canon 100mm IS lens. It's also the cheapest option.
This adapter is solid and fits snugly to both the lens and the flash mount. There is not worry of slippage. For most people this is what they need.
The main drawback is that it prevents you from using a filter. There is no glass in the adapter, it's just a ring so splashes or other hazards can get right to your lens.
For advanced users that want filters and more precise positioning of the flash heads, a macro flash bracket system is a better solution at a much higher price.

Comments about Canon 67 Macrolite Adapter:
This is a must have adapter for use with the MT-24EX Macro Twin Lite and Canon's 100mm 2.8 L IS USM lens which in themselves are great products. I haven't gone wrong purchasing any Canon products. It's always a pleasure
buying from BH I might add.

Comments about Canon 67 Macrolite Adapter:
There is no choice:
You need to have it for EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM Lens _if you use_ MR-14EX TTL Macro Ring Lite Flash.
The last 2 kind of designed to be together.
Works as expected; no cons.

Comments about Canon 67 Macrolite Adapter:
For adapting to use the 100mm macro, this does the trick. Quality construction. For the price it could probably come with a case—at least a cap for the 58mm side so you don't have to constantly screw and unscrew the adapter off your lens.

Fits fine the price should be an embarrassment to Canon and BH, this must cost less than a dollar to make.

Comments about Canon 67 Macrolite Adapter:
This item was necessary to enable me to use a Canon MR14-EX with my Canon 100mm L IS Macro lens. I works as expected. Though you do need a 58mm lens cap if you wish to keep the Macrolite adaptor on your lens permanently. You cannnot have a filter (protection or others) mounted with the adaptor on the lens

AS STATED IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION, THIS ADAPTER IS NECESSARY
TO ATTACH BOTH CANON RING LIGHTS TO 67MM LEN FILTER RINGS. IT WORKS PERFECTLY
AND IS TYPICAL CANON QUALITY.

Must get item for attaching macrolite MT-24EX on EF 100mm f2.8L IS lens. Without it, it will never be possible. It is strong and hold the macrolite well.

Comments about Canon 67 Macrolite Adapter:
This works well with the MT-24EX Twin Flash and the Canon 100mm macro f/2.8L IS lens. Only giving 4 stars because there is some tendency for the adapter to rotate a little loose or become stuck on (but still removable with a little extra effort). This is not a problem with the adaptor itself, but has more to do with the overall system of using the filter threads to hold on a flash. Not a big issue, but sometimes wish there was another way.

Comments about Canon 67 Macrolite Adapter:
You insert the large part in your lens, the small part will fit the macro light ring.Simple, efficient, durable [...].Do not forget to purchase another set of lens cap (58) and potential 58 filter if you don't want to remove the adapter every use.
