The NEC NP110 is a low priced yet high powered projector that's as useful in the living room as it is in the conference room. It can project high definition signals in the 720p and 1080i formats and the NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV standards. Its 100 to 200 V AC 50/60 Hz power supply is also ready for the world. As is its 21 language onscreen display (OSD).
The NP110 is so ecologically conscious it even has a carbon savings meter that calculates the positive effects of operating the projector in ECO Mode, which is encouraged by an optional message at startup. ECO mode lowers light output somewhat, slows the fan and saves you money.
This projector is people friendly too. Its input panel is clearly labeled and color coded. And it enables you to include the hard of hearing members of your audience by displaying Closed Captioning from program sources that provide it. CC also comes in handy to help people whose native language isn't English.
The NP215 sports a 0.55" DLP chip with BrilliantColor. This chip increases color accuracy while it increases color brightness by up to 50 percent. And it processes six different primary colors rather than the usual three. What's more, projectors powered by DLP light engines require no filters that have to be cleaned and replaced periodically.

Comments about NEC NP110 DLP SVGA 2200 Lumens Projector:
Used primarily for business presentations several times per week.
Works really well in moderate illumination level rooms as well as projectors at twice the price.
The only drawback perhaps is that it does not come with a case. Some may object to the size if it has to be transported frequently.

Best contrast, Best Lumens, most flexible for either home, DVD, or PC, PLUS it has audio. It does not have HDMI but the imaging is still outstanding and all for way under half the price of ALL other competitors.YOU WON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED! Oh, and [...] don't offer hardly any selection unless you want to pay multiple thousands, that's how they make their money

Comments about NEC NP110 DLP SVGA 2200 Lumens Projector:
I love how clear the image is on this projection, and how huge the projected image is - 72+ diagonal. I used my laptop and played some movies for a party I held in my backyard. My friends and I enjoyed the product I highly recommend this!

Comments about NEC NP110 DLP SVGA 2200 Lumens Projector:
I used the NP110 at the Jaffa Sport Show in
Altoona, Pennsylvania to present fishing seminars
with PowerPoint presentation. Though the room was
long and narrow, the projector shown clear and
focused on a standard size screen for all in the
room. This is a great projector for a low price!

Comments about NEC NP110 DLP SVGA 2200 Lumens Projector:
Clean looking, has all of the features I was looking for at a great price. The only thing I was not totally happy about was the long throw from the stock lens. I work with numerous brands - Infocus, Sharp, Acer, and NEC. This specific NEC has a really long throw so to get a 7' x 7' screen filled you need to put this camera about 14' back. Not so with other brands.

Comments about NEC NP110 DLP SVGA 2200 Lumens Projector:
I use this projector primarily at church for movie nights, video game nights, computer classes, and the occasional multimedia injection to worship service and meetings.
This projector does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it does have everything we are likely to need in a lightweight package. Easy, intuitive setup and operation make it usable by most anyone. Best of all, it is very bright and super sharp and pretty quiet.
Is there a downside? If you want component video or HDMI inputs, you should pay for them. (This will accept component video with an adapter, and it works.) If you want double the brightness, you should pay for it. If you had $3000 - $5000 dollars more to spend on a projector, you wouldn't be reading this review. Go ahead, buy it. You'll be glad you did.

Comments about NEC NP110 DLP SVGA 2200 Lumens Projector:
Have had NP100 for two years and added this NP110 with similar great results. 2200 Lumes is on the money and image quality is outstanding for this DLP at 800x600. Highly recommend for presentations, and even home theater albiet in a slightly darkened room.
