I'm using it to carry a Zoom R24 recorder for remote recordings. It's a well built case with plenty of extra storage for cables, batteries, SD cards. It has limited impact resistance so you'll still have to careful with it.

This is a superb product. Enables me to take the R16 to a job with confidence. Plenty of pockets and padding, even has room for a little mike stand. Unassuming design, so it won't attract thieves.

For me this product is "Just OK" To protect a $400 piece of equipment, I would like a little more protection...This is a glorified laptop bag. It does have a specially designed pocket for the R16, but not a great one. It is so thin I would be afraid to put any other equipment in with it, you could easily break a pre-fader or some other part of the R16...Also if you put a laptop in with it, It would be a wicked tight fit too..
Bottom line, It is the only thing out there that works...So I gave it 3 stars for a good attempt...I would say buy it too, because You need to at least somewhat protect your investment..
