Used for 3 months now. Absolutely stunning sound. Tenor baritone voice . Needs almost no eq right out of the box. Clear, still warm, transparent.

Comments about Blue enCORE 200 Dynamic Handheld Cardioid Microphone:
I did a lot of research for a new "Swiss Army" goto mic and this won: extremely diverse for use with vox, percussion, native american flute, drums and lead guitar. The sound is very clean, pure with no added saturation or fuzz which one gets with an SM57. Since it is a condenser mic you have more versatility with proximity and the signal is stronger compared to its 100 series mics. I am so glad I have these in my mic locker and will be using them a lot instead of other mics.

Comments about Blue enCORE 200 Dynamic Handheld Cardioid Microphone:
We got this mic for a soprano lead vocal to give warmth to her voice. It does the job better than all other microphones we have tried. We switched from a beta 52.

Comments about Blue enCORE 200 Dynamic Handheld Cardioid Microphone:
The mic does everything I expected but I have limited experience with this type equipment so can't give accurate comparisons. The mic's appearance is very good. Vocals were clear through a mixer to a pair of powered studio speakers. The mic is not light weight but feels good to hold but might become heavy if used for extended periods of time. I was disapointed to discover it didn't have a on-off switch which is the reason I ranked it as a 4. I'm sure there is another model which has a switch. The mic holder supplied with this mic is nice as is the storage bag.
