This Custom Brackets QRM-C Quick Release Receiver is for the Manfrotto RC2 Series (by Bogen) camera quick release. It can be setup for tall or short cameras. The CK-501 is required for the bracket to be attached to the tripod.

Wow, makes it so quick and so easy to take the camera off and on and I love that I can use my RC2 manfrotto grey plates that I already own.

I held off on picking a QR system until I found a tripod and head that I liked - I was tired of 2 or 3 different QR systems that were incompatible. After buying a Manfrotto CXPro and Manfrotto head, I ordered Manfrotto compatible parts for my Digital Pro-M. This part is built very well and works, but you have to thread it in and out to lock your camera. It's not as fast as a true QR.
I also found that my Pro-M was an older model and wouldn't rotate - this QR-M was hitting the bracket. Custom Brackets is sending me a "Palm Grip" which will fix this issue.
