The Aspire One AOD250-1613 Netbook Computer from Acer is a compact netbook computer with a 10.1" LED Backlit LCD display. The system has two installed operating systems, Windows XP and Android, giving you the option to boot to either on startup. Android, developed by Google and the Open Handset Alliance, is written with mobile applications in mind.
The 2.8 pound system won't weigh you down, and features 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a spacious 160GB hard drive. The system is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Processor N280 CPU and boasts 1GB of RAM. Very stable running XP. Have installed MS Office Suite and the system works great. The only upgrades I would consider are 2 Gig Ram and having a Portable DVD/CD drive. I use the machine as a replacement for my laptop doing mostly small spreadsheets, powerpoints and word documents. I've not used Android enough yet to comment. Battery Life has been 8 - 9 hours surfing the web. Built in web cam is great as well.
