This Ikelite compact mechanical underwater housing is designed for the Canon Vixia HF20 and HF200 camcorders. The housing is molded in clear polycarbonate and includes an optical-glass lens port with removable UR pro filter. The housing's port is threaded allowing the use of 67mm threaded wide-angle conversion lenses. You can use the optional Ikelite #6420 W-20 lens or any other 67mm threaded wide-angle conversion lens.
Another wide-angle option is to use special ports for use with the Raynox HD-5050 Pro high-definition wide-angle lens. You have a choice of dome port #9304 or flat port #9304.1. The dome allows the conversion lens to have the same angle of view as it does on land. The port will not allow the camcorder to shoot in macro mode, and you only get two thirds of your zoom range. The flat port does not correct underwater size distortion, but it allows you to shoot in macro mode. You will also get full use of the zoom. The Fathom Hi Def port WP-80 is also compatible with this housing.
The housing is easy to use and lets you capture the moment underwater in video or digital stills. Features include seven manual controls: power on/off, record-start/stop, zoom, snapshot, mode dial, function button and joystick. The design of the housing allows the camera's large viewing screen to be seen easily through the housing back. The housing is rated to a depth of up to 200'.

Went for this housing because it was reasonably affordable and gave me (theoretically) access to full functionality. In reality you only have practical access to basic functionality because the jog dial just doesn't work well with this housing. To make matters worse, the bolt connection mount at the top of the handle does not lend itself to most locline arm connectors. Ikelite told me that I can connect their arm to the handle mount, but you can't connect the arm to your light! Thanks for the help Ikelite! Fortunately, I found an alternate supplier for arms that would fit this housing.
