The 13.3" MacBook Notebook Computer from Apple is a compact and lightweight Mac notebook computer, housed in a durable polycarbonate unibody enclosure. Boasting a white color scheme, the notebook features such ergonomic enhancements as contoured corners and a non-slip bottom surface.
The system's 13.3" LED-backlit LCD display produces crisp and brilliant images. It features a glossy finish for enhanced color saturation, and a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels -- giving you plenty of screen real estate for multitasking. The computer's built-in iSight webcam rests snugly above the display, allowing you to participate in web chats without the need of a clunky external webcam.
An advanced integrated battery allows you to use the computer for up to 7 hours between charges. When the computer is plugged into the wall, it's via a power adapter with a MagSafe connector. MagSafe technology connects the power adapter to the computer via a magnetic bond. The MagSafe connector will harmlessly separate from the computer if you trip over the cord, helping to prevent damage.
The system features a comfortable chiclet-style keyboard, which will be immediately familiar to anyone who has used a MacBook before. The MacBook now boasts a glass Multi-Touch trackpad, the same type found on the MacBook Pro. The trackpad does not have a separate mouse button, as its entire surface acts as a button. This increases the active surface area, and allows you to quickly click, even if your finger is near the top of the trackpad.
What's more, the smooth surface fully supports Multi-Touch gestures -- you can tap the trackpad with one finger to click, with two fingers to right click, scroll through documents using two fingers, pinch to zoom, navigate through Safari or iPhoto with three-finger left and right swipes, or use two fingers to rotate a photo or PDF.
iLife '09, a complete suite of digital creativity applications, is installed on the system. Easy enough for anyone to use, iLife will help you edit your home movies, organize digital photos, and compose original music.
The system is powered by a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and boasts 4GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, Apple's SuperDrive DVD burner, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and an iSight webcam. The glossy 13.3" widescreen display is powered by nVIDIA GeForce 9400M integrated graphics.
All this hardware runs on Apple's Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system. The 64-bit OS features Time Machine backup, which automatically backs up system data to an external hard drive. It also features intuitive Cover Flow navigation, the powerful Spotlight search tool, and Quick Look document preview. You'll be able to use Boot Camp to run Windows on your Mac, or Front Row to turn your Mac into an impressive media player.

Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Notebook Computer (White Unibody):
I'm going to be a freshman in college soon. This macbook will help any student with their essays, presentations and more. I'm going to carry this with me everywhere because I know the amount of work I will have will be quite heavy. Luckily this product's weight is not too heavy for me to carry in a nice bag. I love how chic and nice the macbook is, I hope it stays that way forever! My only concern is dirtying the keyboard (since you can see it so well on its white platform) but that can be easily fixed of course.

Very comparable specs with a similar Macbook Pro, while a bit less expensive. Only difference is the graphics card.

Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Notebook Computer (White Unibody):
I got this macbook (with a couple memory upgrades) to use in our homeschool, household management, playing DVDs, editing photos in Elements, digital scrapbooking, etc. Not a disappointment! I used a Mac laptop back in '96-'98, and it was a disaster. Since then I was a Windows user, but got sick and tired of all the glitches and crashes and slowing down. I'm not savvy enough these days to keep up with 'maintenance', and finally made the jump (back) to Mac. So far it's great; not bogged down with dozens of pointless programs, it seems very intuitive, downloads have been a breeze, pulling the DSL connection of the Windows machine and into this worked perfectly and without a hitch. Downloading a driver for my Brother printer was simplicity defined. I'm waiting on some networking equipment and will start switching files over, but if what I've read is true, that should not be a problem either.
I have very few complaints; the typical whine about the white construction showing dust and dirt, and the edge where your wrists lie is a little sharp (I hear you can file it down). Other than that, I couldn't be happier.

Comments about Apple 13.3" MacBook Notebook Computer (White Unibody):
This is my fourth apple computer. My first was in 2005. They are all still running flawlessly and the 13.3 MacBook is the best of them all. Small and light enough to be a travel companion, but still loaded w/ features. I edit all my pictures on this machine and I usually take at least 3000 photos a week. I shoot both RAW & Jpeg and it handles them with hardly a burp. I'm not easy on my gear and it gets pretty beat up over the years, but it still works which is the important thing. If I had to have any complaint, it's the fact that it's white and it's hard to keep clean. (I've given up!) Aside from that do yourself a favor...buy one of these!
