The Century Precision Optics 0LA-N13M-00 is a lens mount adapter designed to convert a Nikon-mount photo lens with aperture ring to a 1/3" bayonet mount. The unit can be used with a variety of HD camcorders, including the JVC GY-HM and GY-HD series, Panasonic AG-HPX300, Sony HVR-Z7 and Sony HVR-S270. By providing optical flexibility, videographers can tap into the potential of using additional lenses. This adapter introduces a 7x magnification factor.

I am using the adapter on my Sony Z7. It is great for my Nikon prime lenses from 50 to 100mm. My 8mm fish eye lens is still not as wide as the standard Sony lens for the Z7. If i use lenses greater than 100mm the focus is very critical and you better have a good 1 ton tripod. I got fantastic results with a 300mm and 2 times Nikon adapter with shots of the moon. The clarity is outstanding and get half the moon full frame. The locking catch is a bit flimsy but the quality is otherwise very good.
