Brother's MFC-9320CW Digital All-In-One Wireless Printer is a printer, scanner and copier all rolled into one, with small offices or small workgroups in mind. The MFC-9320CW is equipped with an 802.11b/g wireless interface plus a wired Ethernet connection, giving users a choice of networking options. The MCF-9020CW is also equipped with USB and PictBridge interfaces enabling computer-free printing from PictBridge equipped digital cameras or USB memory devices. It is propelled by Brother's laser-like digital LED technology, which helps yield B&W or color documents and photos with resolutions up to 600 x 2400dpi at speeds up to 17 pages per minute. The unit's high resolution results in detailed images with brilliant colors and rich black text.
For busy offices, the MFC-9320CW is equipped with an adjustable 250-sheet paper tray and a 35-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for copying, scanning or faxing multiple pages up to legal size. It also has a straight-through bypass which accommodates heavier stock papers and envelopes. The flatbed scanner will accommodate letter and A4 size documents for copying or scanning, and it has a hinged flatbed cover to enable copying from bound documents such as books or magazines.
It uses individual toner cartridges which are easy to replace and will save money because only individual cartridges need to be replaced when depleted. The MFC-9320CW combines outstanding all around office multi-functionality into a single, space saving device (16.9 x 19.2 x 15.7").

[...] Support (North American) was great and had all the info for trouble shooting on hand. Only took a minute or two, in the afternoon, to talk to a human.Works great on my older PPC Macs. (10.4.x & 10.5.x) I think they are still working on some of the software for 10.6.x so not sure what works or what doesn't in Snow Leopard. The software worked right off the CD, rare for Mac's. I used the original drivers first, worked fine, and then I downloaded all the updated drivers, firmware and such afterwords just to see how well they did. The firmware update did work using the wireless. The Brother "Control Center" still crashes when using the "Scan to PC" (to pdf). Well, kinda sorta. When I went back to the folder to look again there were a couple pdf files there that I hadn't seen before so I don't know which version it worked in, but it still crashed after using it either way. It might just be a Mac driver thing and may work fine on Windows. The book has Sections for copying, printing, etc. If a Fax is important then this is for you, SEVEN chapters just on fax alone. This CAN print Photos but it's still not going to be as good as an inkjet with photo paper, (I kept mine for that reason). I'm not sure if it would be a good thing to use glossy photo paper in a laser printer with a 350+ degree metal roll and all. (to fuse the toner) I hooked it up to wireless right off the bat and it took all of 1 min (30 sec to navigate the menu). You have to set up wireless to the printer first before you setup the computer. If you have a wireless network already then all you have to do is put in the SSID and password into the printer and thats it. Cool. If you're starting a wireless network from scratch then connect your computer and router first then do as above. It's a lot easier to use a 20 inch screen and a mouse then a 1 inch LCD and buttons. You can use their software to access the printer and fine tune or change the connections just like a router. I haven't used the USB/Ethernet connections or the Fax yet. The Brother is probably quieter then both my old ink-jet's, 10 yr old epson 900 and 4 yr old Lexmark x2230 AIO and probably twice as quiet as my Kids 2 week old Epson Inkjet. It's the paper handling on all of them that are noisy. I think I figured out the envelope feed problem! Just like Brother says, you have to push it until it stops AND you can feel the printer grab it a little (grabs only about 1/8 inch, you barely feel it), it takes a few seconds, then send the print job, it worked for me every time. If it gives you the "fake" Paper Jam error then just pull the envelope back out then raise the lid for 3 or 4 seconds then close it and do it again. Don't forget to open the back door. Make sure the back access door is closed AFTER you are done with the envelopes, the normal paper will come out the back instead of the top other wise. The envelopes will still look a little wrinkled and "smooshed" (even on "Thick Envelope" setting) but I'll just blame it on the Post Office if anybody asks. If it bothers you then I used a butter knife handle (anything round and straight) to pre "smoosh" the envelope to keep the wrinkles down. It's not that bad really considering what it will look like after going thru the mail anyway. Unless you have "Laser Compatible" Envelopes you have to immediately open the flap when it comes out or it will seal itself, at least on our generics. Its just as fast in "fine" Color as "normal" Color or Black/White. The ADF is nice addition and works great even on the smaller "Power Bill" receipts. The Printer uses the old style pc100/133 so-dimms (laptop small form) ram sticks in one expansion slot. 512 megs is the largest for a total of 576 megs of ram. This is an investment so the consumables, toners, drums, belt deck, etc, cost more by them selves, but are all about half the cost of other Lasers and toners go at least 6 times longer then inkjet carts, I'm more then happy with it.This is my first Laser Printer so it SEEMED like it takes a few extra seconds to print but I'm sure it's the extra few seconds it needs to "wake up". I think my old apple 2500 did the same thing. I wish the inkjets had sleep. From the reviews of other brands/models this is still faster then most. Kind of a nit pick (for a home user anyway) but the printer isn't "zero clearance" as the intake cooling and exhaust are on the sides and the rear needs room for the exit door for envelopes and card stock.

This is one AWESOME machine!! I LOVE IT!! It does it all and was extremely easy to set up and get running. I do not use the wireless feature but I use all the other features this machine offers. There may come a time that I may decide to use the wireless set up but I only have one computer at this time. It is a very fast printing machine and the copies that it makes are Fantastic! The color and print quality are Excellent! The fax end of the machine works really well too and sends and receives Fax's FAST. As far as the Scanner, it is really fast too! I am really enjoying my new Brother machine. I know for a fact that the name Brother has been around a long, long, long time and is a highly reputable company. I had no doubts when I set this machine up that I would be very happy with it. They are a 5 star company and this machine proves it! NOW, the only one thing that I wished that this machine did have would be memory card slots for transferring files directly to the printer. There is a USB open port on the front of the machine witch enables a card reader hookup but I always liked the direct card slots. This is no big deal though considering the High Quality of the machine itself. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an all in one set up.

Comments about Brother MFC-9320CW Digital All-In-One Wireless Printer:
Set up was simple even though Brother favors styrofoam over cardboard. That's not very eco kids! Also that puppy is HEAVY! Ugh. Software was (for the most part) intuitive. The documentation is not for idiots but we're not idiots are we? A little attention is all that's required. Scanning quality is excellent although the automatic feed tends to skew your pages a bit. If orientation is a fetish of yours, place each page on the glass. Copying and printing quality is fabulous and the FAX function is more than adequate. Lots of buttons though, so there IS a slight learning curve but if you're willing to just push buttons to see what happens, you'll be fine. However... the manual is worth a read.
I have no complaints yet, but the thing is still new enough that I don't have a sense yet of how long the black, cyan, yellow or Magenta will last. Would I buy it again? Heck yeah!!

This is the printer that I've been looking for years after wasted a lot of money on low cost ink jet printers.
Color is good enough for regular report even not as good for photo picture quality.
Wireless can let me put at anywhere in my house.
Copy machine function is a plus
Fax function seems not useful to me, but not hurt to have it.
Laser technology let me stop worrying the ink dry out again.
It even has sleep mode to save energy after hour

Comments about Brother MFC-9320CW Digital All-In-One Wireless Printer:
We're really pleased with the MFC-9320CW after having it for a couple weeks. Our previous machine, a 8 year old MFC-8820DN was still working, but we had to have two printers setup in order to print in color. That took up a lot of needed space. The price point for color laser finally reached the point of allowing us to combine both printers into one.
The MFC-9320CW is a bit noisy, but not to the point of being a nuisance. We did have an issue setting up the wireless option. Brother online chat customer service was less than stellar when it came to diagnosing this problem. Their online chat representative insisted I had the incorrect WEP key for my router and would go no further in determining my problem. I re-entered the correct information over and over again to no avail getting a "connection failed" reply each time. While having to wait to call into Brothers "technical support" department on Monday morning (no weekend phone hours), a quick Google search informed me that this was a known problem with Actiontec routers. The fix described was to unplug my router for 15-30 seconds, then after the router finished rebooting, re-enter the wireless SSID and WEP password as described in the instructions. It connected on the first try! Once the wireless was setup, we had no issues with any of our laptop computers printing to the machine.
We look forward to another easy 8 years or more using this Brother color laser MFC.

I use the printer for general office work. I like the sheet feeder. It has a snappy action that actually takes in several sheets without jamming. The controls are easy to use and you can choose to print black all the time to save your color cartridges. Use a standard color card to find the right paper for color reproduction. It makes a big difference what paper you use. I have found a good paper that reproduces most but not all colors correctly. This is NOT a photo printer.

I researched several different models to replace my old Brother MFC. I have used Brother lasers for over 15 years so I was not surprised that the MFC-9320 gets such great reviews. Setup is very quick with the included printed guide, wireless setup is easy too: just put the CD in the computer you want to connect and run the program. Once installed, the 9320 shows up in your printer list as if it was just another printer, no extra menus to deal with. One drawback is that the unit is larger than my old MFC, but the actual footprint is about the same.
