No moving parts, nothing to break- this is important because I'm not a dainty guy and I don't think twice about jamming 20 keys, a cell phone, locking pliers, and a screwdriver in my pocket at the same time.
I purchased something similar about 4 days before I ordered this one from another company, and it was broken within a day.
I use it to load up my phone, and when I'm driving, I can pull out the SDHC and plug it into the USB of my car stereo. 32 GB of media for whatever device I need (Computer, Phone, Car).
The way the card slips in is great. The slim design is great. It comes with a small lanyard keyring deal, which makes it easy to attach to whatever. The casing is sturdy. It's also inexpensive. If you need something like this, there's no good reason to NOT buy it.

I bought this reader a couple of weeks ago. It was delivered on time. It works as expected, but unfortunately when the reader was a little bit stuck in the USB port and I applied some force to extract it, the metallic shell disconnected from the body and I had 3 pieces in my hand: the frame, the small electric board (where the magic happens ) and metallic shell. The device has no glue and is held together only by a light friction. I will try to glue them together using some epoxy, but WHY?

I bought this to use with a new car stereo because a similar type microSD to USB adapter I had was only good for regular, low capacity SD chips, not the SDHC chips I had.
So, for only about $5, this was a great purchase.

I use this in my Toyota 4Runner, as it has a USB stereo input in the glove compartment. It's perfect for computers too (I bought two). I have a 16GB microSD card plugged into this in my vehicle and I have a duplicate to take my music and other files wherever I want - perfect all around. I've had others and they've quit after a few months. This one has been going strong. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.

Tiny. TINY. And very convenient for transferring files to a cellphone. It missed 5 stars only because it is not waterproof. (If you wash it in your shirt pocket, as I did, you'll need a new one.)

It works and I like that it's USB compatible instead of converting it into a mini or SD.
The down side is it's small. Even the cord that attaches to it is small. It's barely bigger than my micro making it easy to misplace. It doesn't come with a case, so one might need to be purchased.
BUT I think it's great for the price.

I ordered a couple of these Micro SD card readers so I'd have a way to handle those tiny cards with my clumsy fingers. The reader itself is pretty tiny, but very useful in turning the Micro SD into a USB pluggy-inny that can work directly with my computers. It makes the tiny card just enough bigger as to be handle-able and useful.
The reader is small (easy to lose track of) and very handy, but do not expect ruggedness or durability out of it. I wouldn't put it on a keychain, for example, and have it bang around in your pocket with your keys all day.
Overall, it is an ingenious and useful device, and the very low price recommends it.

I bought the micro sd card reader for my micro sd card. It is great to be able to transfer files on to my computer or back on to my card via USB. I use the micro sd card for my smartphone. Having the reader with me allows to me change files on the fly. Great Prodcut!! I am amazed at how small the reader is.

the micro sd card reader is probably the best thing since sliced bread and cinnamon toast crunch. the card slips smoothly and snugly into the slot, tight enough so there is no chance it would slip out on its own. the size of the reader is unnoticeable on your keychain so you won't have to worry about an awkward bulge in your pocket. I have been using this thing for pretty much all my file transfers and couldn't be more impressed with its functionality. I also get many compliments on the new gizmo.
