Like most things associated with the name Leica, this optional HDMI mini-cable is of excellent quality, and for example even comes with little custom-made plastic dust covers (in two sizes!----one for the 'normal' HDMI plug that goes into your TV, and another smaller one for the 'mini' plug that attaches to the V-Lux 2.) Necessary? Probably not---but impressive anyway, for its thoroughness. I can confirm that with this cable you can easily and pleasurably watch your high-resolution still pictures and AVC HD movies taken on the V-Lux 2 with ease. I'm happy I got it[...]
