Comments about Leica X1 Camera Case:
This camera case is beautiful and classic, not clunky or unattractive like a lot of "gear" cases. I'm quite pleased with it except for two factors: 1) the X1 lens cap sometimes comes off when the case is opened and 2) the camera fits so snugly inside that there is no room for the camera strap in the case. Luckily, the case strap is easily affixed to the metal camera loops, but then the case has to be hand held or attached to a belt or something (there is a loop to do this). Overall, though, I think the aesthetics of the case make it worth it. If you've bought the Leica X1, you are obviously interested in quality and aesthetics, and the case marries those two qualities well.

Comments about Leica X1 Camera Case:
Gives solid protection and feels very snug. Leather has a nice feel. It gives good, form-fitting protection. I just keept the camera in there - storage at home, walking with only the camera, and when placing the camera in a bigger bag. On the downside, I wish it had a smaller pouch to clip on the viewfinder. This is best for traveling light. I'd say you will enjoy it, might even love it, but I am on the fences about whether it was worth paying so much money.

Comments about Leica X1 Camera Case:
I'm not impressed with the X1 camera case, regardless of price. Its awkward and unwieldy, making a Leica X1 camera susceptible to being dropped unless the camera has an optional strap. While the leather construction is study - in a circa 1950s style - it is not designed for taking into the field for a day of snapping photos. The case is best for storing the camera, in my opinion. Alternatively, Crumpler's Two-Million-Dollar-House camera case is ideal for the X1 and costs one-third as much.

Comments about Leica X1 Camera Case:
I did not order this item at first, as I like to have my camera handy at all times, but after receiving the X1, I was concerned that the view screen is very exposed to touching. The case is very high quality and fashionable. The camera goes in and out easily. The best feature of this case is the magnetic closing, much easier than the old snaps. I highly recommend this product for protection of the equipment, easy of use, and good looks.

Comments about Leica X1 Camera Case:
The Leica X1 carrying case is well built. The inner lining is very soft and plush. The size is a little small and there is only one side pocket in the front. Don't expect to carry any other camera in it bigger than an X1 for any camera that mounts lens. It is made for a Leica X1 and should be used as such.
