The ACL 2 from Alto is a dual channel compressor/limiter/gate with a dedicated enhancer section on each channel. The unit features several innovative circuit designs with one providing automatic attack and release times for the compressor, using smart and fast recognition of the program material.
An adjustable expander/gate, and very low distortion Voltage Control Amplifier (VCA) deliver smooth sound, while the enhancer section replaces high frequencies lost due to heavy compression. LED meters on each channel display gain reduction.
