The ACL8 from Alto is an 8 channel compressor/limiter/gate that features very user-friendly architecture for fast and reliable compression and limiting. The compressor attack and release times can be automatically set dependent on the source material, or via full manual control. Smart Knee Control allows for musical and inaudible compression.
Sidechain jacks are provided for spectral compression or for gate processing on each channel. A link feature slaves all the channels to channel 1's settings. LED meters on each channel display gain reduction and input levels. Housed in a ruggedly constructed steel chassis with an aluminum front panel, the unit delivers high-quality performances and crystal clear compression, brick wall limiting and inaudible noise gating.
