Comments about Arri Production Bag, Large:
I bought this bag to replace my old AC ditty bag.
PROS:
Strong, sturdy, hard. Not worried about packing it in the back of a truck.
It's got a great soft interior, and with the added dividers it's great for storing camera batteries, cables, filters, mattebox's and other accessories.
Great specialty pockets for spray cans such as dustoff or WD40.
It's the perfect size to place a full sized slate in the bag standing up (held by a divider). Nice.
The clear plastic pockets in the interior lid are perfect.
The elastic band on the top of the bag to store large objects (such as a french flag or film tent) is perfect.
Just came back from an underwater shoot today, and i can testify that it is indeed water proof.
There's a nice elastic side pocket which i use to hold a black/white cloth.
CONS:
the bag doesn't have any straps\elastics for standing up tools such as screwdrivers and pliers etc. HUGE problem i think. i'm working a way around this, and may have to take the bag to a shoemaker or such and sew straps. At the moment all my tools are tossed like garbage in the front pocket.
It's a little hard to zip up the top since the bag is so accurately fitted - it's hard to work the zippers around the corners (but i like leaving it open and accessible anyways).
Like any Arri product this is quality stuff.
Unfortunately the tool assortment problem prevents me from giving the product 5 stars.

Used as a set bag for film and video shoots
lots of usable space and waterproof
biggest problem is that the lid is very tight over the bag and can be difficult to quickly close or open.
