Sync line voltages can sometimes damage a camera's delicate internal circuits. This device plugs into any strobe that has a Female Household (2 prong) sync socket. It reduces the sync line voltage to well below tolerance levels for any camera - film, or digital. It accepts Male Household sync, or sync extension cord.

Have a couple of these syncs. I even use it with a low voltage battery pack for just in case! Like to know that my cameras are sage.

Comments about Speedotron Low Voltage Sync Adapter for all Household Sync Sockets:

I am still using an old Brown Line power pack for background lighting. I just bought a MicroSync radio and was worried about the 60 V trigger voltage the Brown Line uses. According to this (also Speedotron made) adaptor it should protect the modern low voltage slaves.....and it does. It works, no problem with the MicroSync, no damage, no misfiring.[@]
