Comments about Kata CB-300 Camcorder Bag:
I use this bag to transport my Canon XL2. It is just the right size and well padded. Lots of pockets for equipment (batteries, filters, power supply, etc.). I have nothing negative to say about this bag.

Comments about Kata CB-300 Camcorder Bag:
I use the CB-300 to carry all my video equipment, a large AG-HMC70 camcorder, lights, mikes, and still have room for more. Lots of room and I love the storage areas on the underside of the top. Made very well.

Comments about Kata CB-300 Camcorder Bag:
I bought this camera bag to safely transport a PMW-EX1R camera with shotgun mic mounted on it. Most smaller bags have insufficient length to permit the camera to be stowed with shotgun mic intact. The interior partitions, Velcro affixed, permit lots of storage space for batteries, cables, power supplies and othe accessories. There are long storage pockets under the top cover that could be used to store extra long shotgun mics, tripod fluid head handles etc.
The cloth material seems fairly rugged. The carry handle snaps together easily and the carry strap seems reasonably comfortable. But the bag is a lot larger than I had anticipated. It is actually larger than the bag I use for a full size shoulder mount camera!
It comes with a bean bag lens cradle which I use instead as a rear bumper for the camera so that it fits snuggly without crushing the rubber lens hood. Camera is then perfectly centered in the bag.
The bag permits me to quickly extract the camera and begin shooting without having to assemble anything.
Unfortunately the top cover zippers bind a bit and are somewhat annoying to unzip. And the Velco attached front interior top pocket has to be separated whenever you open the bag. This is a bit annoying and will slow you down a bit.
The bag is large and may not be allowed as carry-on luggage for some airlines. And it is quite heavy even when empty. A narrower and somewhat shorter version would be more ideal, especially for a modest size HD camera. Unfortunately I was unable to find any other that had sufficient inside length and wasn't a lot more costly.
Other than exterior size, it appears to be just right for a fully loaded EX1 series camera. Its in a reasonable price range and will provide great protection.

Comments about Kata CB-300 Camcorder Bag:
I got this bag so I only needed one bag to take to a shoot.I was torn between this bag and the cb400. I am happy with what I got and has plenty of room for my Sony nx5u and canon 60d and accessories.I still need another bag for tripods and shoulder rig.Like others I wish it had more dividers and recommend the optional divider set.It is still small enough to pick up and handle.

This bag is nice. Wheels work well with it too. Only down side is it is a little bit clunky. I would prefer it to be just a bit slimmer.

Comments about Kata CB-300 Camcorder Bag:
brand new bag. I tried a bunch of bags and this bag rocks! Love the way the top flips out with pockets. I can carry everything I need and more. Monitor,RedRock shoulder mount and rails, Batteries, Adapters, mics, cables, on camera light, etc. End pockets are wide, great for stuffing cables and adapters, etc..It is a bit bulky to carry but when your working as a one man band you need a big bag of tricks and this bag can hold them. One gripe I have is with the handle, it dosen't lock or snap in place so everytime you put the bag down the handles come apart. I tried the CB-400 but it was just too big and hard to store plus the extra space would lead to a heavier bag and more chiropractor visits.
