Logitech E3560 QuickCam
The E3560 QuickCam from Logitech is a small webcam with an integrated microphone. With the included software it's capable of 1.3MP image capture and 800 x 720 video capture at 30fps. The built-in microphone makes it ideal for webchat applications like Skype, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and Windows Live. The included software makes it easy to email video or images, or upload them to YouTube or flickr.
The webcam is bus-powered and plug-and-play, making it usable the moment you connect it to a USB port. A snapshot button on the top of the webcam allows you to capture images with the press of a button, and the universal monitor clip makes it easy to attach the webcam to nearly any screen. All these features make the E3560 an economical webcam excellent for staying in touch with friends and family near and far.

So far, so good. I bought this because I needed a webcam with manual focus for a specific application. While the image quality is a bit more grainy than my old Logitech Quickcam Vision Ultra, I'd say that the overall image is better. The depth of focus that comes with manual focus is nice, and the brightness and colors seem to be a lot better than the QCVU with the same driver and the default settings. The built in mic also seems more receptive. I think the e3560 is going to be replacing the Vision Ultra as my primary webcam, which was never the intention.
I'm using it with Windows 7 64-bit, and the latest drivers downloaded from the Logitech website.

I recently purchased 4 webcams to use with my middle school students using Skype and also for Stop Motion Animation. They are easy to install and use and the manual focus allows my students more time to work.
The quality on Skype calls is good not great but for the price how can you go wrong!!!

this is my first webcam purchase - specifically for skyping... it worked out great - image is nice, even in less than ideal lighting (dim). my only disappointment was the fact that my friend's camera on the other side was inferior to mine. now, i'm thinking of posting one of these to my friend!

It does everything I want it to do. Works out of the box with Windows 7, but you get better video resolution once you install the drivers. Only one thing... The CD that came with it didn't work very well. I ended up having to download the drivers from Logitech's site.
