Pro Cyc's System 1.5A-EZ Cyc Corner Module is one section of the smallest-radius cyc (or cyclorama) they make--the System 1.5 EZ. A cyc is a curved wall that's used as a background to suggest infinite space, with no visible horizon line--you can't tell where the floor ends and the wall begins. Cycs are frequently used in still photography, film, and television.
The curved fiberglass modules of the cyc are designed to be installed on sheetrock walls--the 1.5A-EZ is a corner portion of the full cyc. The corner created is non-parabolic, thus reducing the noise level reflected, and it has a longer horizontal sweep for smoother lighting. This corner module has an 18" radius, requiring very little space for the transition from floor to wall, is 5' from the apex of the corner to the right edge, and 3'6" from the apex to the left edge, with a vertical dimension of 2'6".
The 1.5A-EZ requires installation (not included) involving minimally invasive construction (optional Pro Cyc Certified Installation is available). All of the modules in the system are trimmed and ready to assemble and install, with a patented tapered edge for an even transition to adjacent surfaces, which produces a totally seamless joint. The 1.5 EZ System is particularly suited to situations where space is limited.
Nuts, bolts, washers, floor fasteners, and sheetrock screws required for the installation are not included (they may be ordered separately).
